With more than 25 years of pet-care experience, including 17+ years at Guiding Eyes for the Blind, Sarah brings extensive hands-on experience working with dogs of all ages. Her background includes training and socialization, behavioral support, working with foster families, and raising potential guide dogs.

After training directly under Suzanne Clothier, Sarah developed a relationship-centered approach built on connection, communication, and trust. She believes every dog is different and loves helping people better understand the dog in front of them.

Whether your dog is staying with Sarah, your pets are being cared for in their own home, or working with her on training, her goal is simple: for every dog to feel safe, understood, and genuinely cared for, and for their people to feel completely comfortable knowing they’re in experienced hands.

Sara’s passion in life has always been training and caring for animals. She has over 17 years experience working for a guide dog organization where she trained, evaluated, excersized and cared for puppies and adult dogs, and taught families basic obedience and proper leash-handling skills.

She specializes in relationship-centered training, creating happy, healthy relationships which are effective, humane and FUN!@ 

She is highly experienced in all areas of animal husbandry, including nail cutting, ear cleaning, administering oral medications, bathing, grooming, etc. She treats all animals as family and looks forward to meeting and caring for your special fur babies!

Sarah occasionally offers boarding services, but mostly takes care of your pets in your home with the utmost kindness and love. Every animal is respected and is cared for according to the owner’s instructions and guidance. They are always kept safe, receive a lot of affection/attention and have FUN!
